The sound room contains two working Johnson Controls vertical stacked water-source heat pump (VS-WSHP) units, allowing customers to experience first-hand the best-in-class sound performance of the high-efficiency 13-EER model and the premium-efficiency 16-EER model in a residential setting.

Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) staff traveled to Sao Paulo, Brazil, Sept. 12-15 for events and meetings surrounding FEBRAVA 2017. Service valves are so basic, and we see them with such regularity that we can miss them altogether. But, before I give the tips, I want to address the tech who tells the customer it was “probably the service valve” or “the caps were loose” as a plausible reason for a leak without actually doing a proper diagnosis. Don’t make excuses, find the leak.
