OneNeck® IT Solutions announced that the company has proven ongoing compliance with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework with respect to the collection, use, and retention of personal data received from the European Union.

The Privacy Shield Framework, as determined by the U.S. Department of Commerce in consultation with the European Commission, is based on a set of robust and enforceable protections for the personal data of EU individuals. It provides transparency regarding how participating companies use personal data, and leverages strong U.S. government oversight along with increased cooperation with EU data protection authorities.

To comply with rules set by European jurisdictions, and to fulfill customer requirements, OneNeck has Privacy Shield Framework compliance certification in place. Earning EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework compliance also ensures OneNeck has the ongoing opportunity to provide cloud computing services to companies that have European operations.

“Gaining EU-U.S. Privacy Shield compliance validates our customers’ confidence in our company,” stated Dave Flynn, SVP of Operations and Engineering at OneNeck. “It also provides reassurance that the safety of their personal data is a top priority. Every year, we seek out this compliance for the sake of our U.S.-based customers with operations and data in Europe. It validates our service offerings and also builds trust and confidence that we have the security in place to protect their business from unauthorized acquisition or use.”
